The BICA Training Team offers courses for all levels of knowledge a experience amongst infertility counsellors and also courses for other colleagues wishing to understand more fully the role of counsellors in this setting. The team aims to specify to whom each training event is best suited.

A course for counsellors who are working in Licensed Centres who are new to infertility counselling and also counsellors who are working with infertility issues in other relevant settings.

COURSE AIMS:

  1. To provide an overview of the context and range of issues surrounding work with clients who are experiencing infertility
  2. To increase understanding of the impact of reproductive techniques
  3. To develop specialist knowledge, learning from each other, aided by the different participants’ work settings
  4. To stimulate and support the interests of infertility counselling generally
