Darian Leader: Depression, Loss and Grief. At The Mansion House, Bristol BS15 8JB.
The diagnosis of depression has become widespread in Primary Care and is often made swiftly, without the time necessary to learn more about the individual case. Exploring the lives of those who suffer from depression reveals a multitude of causes, often involving experiences of loss and unresolved grief. These may be distinguished from the surface symptoms of depression, indicating not only the variety of human responses to loss but also the range of therapeutic possibilities.  read more »

These workshops were originally devised by Barbara Somers and Ian Gordon-Brown in the 70’s. They have been presented regularly ever since, and remain just as relevant today. They are designed to be taken in order, but may be booked individually. Taken sequentially they develop into a meaningful course which gives a transpersonal
perspective on the process of individuation ~ each workshop covering one of the principle themes of this process.
