BICA are delighted to welcome Anest Mathias, to the Executive Committee 

Anest practises as a solicitor at Osbornes Law in Camden, North London. Whilst she undertakes all aspects of family work, she has a particular expertise in fertility and surrogacy law. Anest has written the Resolution Good Practice Guide on Fertility Law, a guide for family lawyers, she has contributed to Journal of Fertility Counselling and Bionews.   
 
Anest has 3 reported cases about parenthood following donor conception. She was instructed by parents in A & Ors (Human Fertilisation And Embryology Act 2008) [2015] EWHC 2602, the landmark case considering parenthood following donor conception where there were anomalies with clinic paperwork.
 
Anest is a member of BICA and her expertise in fertility and surrogacy law together with her interest in fertility counselling will be a valuable asset to BICA.
