Jamie works as a fertility counsellor in a private clinic in the northwest alongside her independent work specialising in family therapy and fertility counselling.

She has worked in a variety of settings since qualifying, which included bereavement and end of life support to hospice patients and their families and a GP surgery.

Jamie holds a BSc (hons) in Psychology, and PGDip in Counselling Psychology from Keele University and is a member of the BPS, BACP and BICA.

Jamie passionately advocates for the fair treatment of counsellors within the industry and is looking forward to raising awareness about the need for appropriate emotional support for patients during fertility treatment.

Jamie has been co-opted onto the Executive committee where she will take the role of Membership Secretary over the coming months. She has vast experience of record keeping and IT skills and her expertise will be invaluable to the work of the Executive Committee.
